Designed to be a last option emergency ration the D ration bar served in both Europe and the Pacific during WWII. I've faithfully reproduced the D Ration from WWII. Perfect for anyone reenacting, living history, or just plain interested in what our troops are during WWII. I’ve painstakingly researched and copied rations based on exact ingredients and packaging using original components for the look and design.
Made exact to the original WWII recipe - our chocolate D Ration holds up under warm conditions, breaks by hand just like originals, in a faithfully reproduced cardboard container and even has that “gritty” texture.
I enjoy them. And my family enjoys when I make a few extra for them too! If you like Nestle crunch bars you’ll like these. I’ve made them crumbled up in hot water for a drink as well.
Made to order using real chocolate cocoa fat, course oat flour, dried milk, vanilla and sugar using a double boiler and 3-D printed mold copying the original specifications.
I have made a few different boxes Wrigleys, Peter Callier Kohler and Hershey’s so box may vary but will be correct  wax coated just like the originals.
