M1 CARBINE WW2 NEW REPLICA 50 ROUND AMMO BOX - SET "A" WITH WRA, LC, & PC LABELS

Up for your consideration is a set of 3 reproduction M1 carbine 50 round ammunition cartons, with WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS COMPANY (W.R.A.), LAKE CITY ORDNANCE PLANT (L.C.), and KINGS MILLS ORDNANCE PLANT (P.C.) labels.
Winchester Repeating Arms was the manufacturer responsible for the development of the M1 Carbine, as well as the .30 Carbine round, and did manufacture various types of small arms ammunition during WW2. However, the Lake City Ordnance Plant, owned and operated by Remington, was the first ammunition plant built that took raw materials in one end and sent finished rounds out the other. The largest percentage of carbine ammunition produced in WW2 came from Lake City, and production continued well into the 1960s.  The Kings Mills Ordnance Plant was also owned by Remington, and after starting with .45 ACP ammunition early in the war, was converted to carbine ammunition production in order to help meet demand. By the time the Kings Mills plant had closed in 1944, it had produced almost as much carbine ammunition as Lake City.
Each "Buy It Now" single purchase is for 3 unassembled cartons with one each of an early "LAKE CITY ORDNANCE PLANT" label, early "WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS" label, and mid-war "KINGS MILLS ORDNANCE PLANT" (Peters Cartridge Company) label. The lot number is hand stamped on the lid prior to shipping, either matching my original cartons, or if you prefer, I can match the lot number of a spam can or crate that you may have. I can also add the repack overstamp that is commonly found on original cartons, as shown in several of the photos, with any date requested. The cartons will be shipped flat, with assembly instructions, and the shipping is free within the U.S. I had a lot of these made, so if you want multiple sets, just change the auction quantity before you click on the "Buy It Now" button.
