, 1944. The WASP pilot’s flew over 60 million miles, transported every type aircraft and each WASP freed up an AAF Pilot for duty. They also towed targets for live fire. 38 WASP members lost their lives. More than 25,000 women applied for the WASP but only 1830 were accepted. Out of this total only 1074 earned their wings. This wing is a current reproduction of the famous WASP wing. It is full size and die struck. High quality wing. Get this wing and remember the incredible women who were WASP’s.
