    Description

    The Spruce Goose!
This is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo showing the Spruce Goose, the famous, massive, 8 engine prototype transport aircraft built by Howard Hughes Aviation during World War Two.  The Goose was intended to carry 750 troops, or two tanks, or other cargo, to Europe and therefore bypass the threat of submarines.  It made only one short flight, and is now in a museum in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Size of photo is about 4" x 6".
