US Soldier with French Child
Normandy 10 June 1944
This is a nice
reproduction of an original WWII photograph showing a US Soldier holding a French child in Normandy in June, 1944.  The soldier is believed to be US Army Pfc. Jesse De Vore of the 2nd Infantry Divison.  He was killed in action a few days later and is buried in the Normandy American cemetery.   Size of photo is about 4 1/2" x 5 1/2".
