Description
B-24 Shot DownThis is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo a US Army Air Force B-24 Liberator heavy bomber which was shot down by anti-aircraft fire on its bombing run over Munich, German on 30 Novermber 1944. The photo shows the bottom of the aircraft with its bomb bay doors open. The aircraft was part of the 465th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force. Phot is grainy but very dramatic. I do not know how the crew fared.
Size of photo is about 4" x 6".
