Up for Auction is a WWII Era Reproduction US Army/USMC Canvas Shotgun Shot Shell Ammunition Pouch.  The Pouch is in New Condition, see photos.  It is dated 1942.  Holds twelve 12 GA Shotgun Shells.

Ammunition Case was made from olive drab cotton duck and had compartments for twelve cartridges. It featured two belt loops on the back and the pouch flap was closed with two lift-the-dot fasteners. Despite its limited ammunition capacity, the shotgun's firepower and wide shot spread meant that is was highly valued as a close quarters combat weapon by some soldiers during WWII.
This is a WWII Era accessory that is often overlooked or forgotten about in most WWII Era Collections.
